Comcast NBCUniversal volunteers

In 2019, Comcast NBCUniversal volunteers prepared the Vermont Farmers Food Center in Rutland for planting season. Comcast Cares mobilizes tens of thousands of volunteers through service projects in Vermont and communities worldwide.

Comcast for an Internet Essentials

Comcast is committed to closing Vermont’s digital divide. In 2019, seniors joined Comcast for an Internet Essentials digital safety rally in Burlington and received free laptops to jump-start their online safety training.


The Internet is arguably the most important technological innovation in history. Since 2011, Internet Essentials from Comcast has connected more than 2 million U.S. households, serving approximately 8 million people, low-cost, high-speed Internet at home so that students, parents, veterans, and now all qualified low-income households can be ready for anything.
